Diabierna Santo

Amigonan, e cosnan aki tabata scirbi banda di dos mil anja pasa, bou di guia y inspiracion di e Spirito Santo di Dios.
Pasobra nos Senjor, y e Apostelnan, cu El a autorisa pa participa e bon noticia di pordon y bida etern0 a spierta nos hopi cla tocante e caimento for di fe, y particularmente for di "e fe", cu ta tumando lugar den e islanan aki, y rond mundo. Ora cu Scritura ta papia di "e fe", e ta papia di loke ta unico. Y e fe aki ta bini via di tendemento di e Evangelio cu yudansa di e Spirito Santo di Dios.

Negligence & Its Consequences

Good afternoon! It is very warm here in Aruba today. We have had months of rainy and comfortable weather, so the heat is hitting us in a new way! We are continuing our thoughts on the subject of what the Scriptures say about negligence and its consequences.

In the Scriptures we read this very significant verse, "Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved." (Acts 4:12). This testimony was given by the Apostle Peter to religious Jewish leaders in his time, who had imprisoned them for having proclaimed that in Jesus there was a resurrection for the dead.

Friends of all ages, it is this very same message that we proclaim today, some two thousand years after. In our previous Blog we exhorted our readers about the danger of procrastination or negligence. Without maybe realizing it we think that other things of far greater importance than to obey the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. We do not say NO to those things that seem so very important but are not. Rather we decide to ignore, postpone or neglect the call of God to repentance from sin and faith in Lord Jesus Christ. By doing this we dishonor God, Who loved humankind so much, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. Are you one of those persons guilty of ignoring His call to repentance and faith in His Son? Are you guilty of dishonoring His love?

In our previous message we also mentioned negligence for such who are already believers. The Scriptures are very clear about the fact that faith comes by hearing the Word of God. This is the question for such who already believe: How can they call on Him on Whom they have not believed? And how can they call on Him of Whom they have not heard? And how can they hear if no one proclaimed the Word to them? And how can they proclaim the Word if they were not sent? As it is written: "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news! (If possible read Romans 10:1-21 and in more than one translation).

That is why it so important to each and every one of us who have professed Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior to not neglect to give a good testimony to the world around us, to the ones we rub shoulders with each day at work, on the streets, etc. We need to have a good testimony not only with our words, but also our daily conduct. This is the will of God for each one of us no matter what our gender is.

Think on these things!

Today is the day of salvation!

Today is the day to share the Good News with someone!

Until another Blog…. Remember to send us a note, either on the blog or in an email.
